Boys Rashy's

I am very excited I have finished some Boys Swimwear for the Market Girl markets this Sunday.
I have had ideas for these for a very long time, so I was excited to get started! I always want my swimwear to stand out from the usual stuff you can buy at the local retail stores, as I love creating clothes with a gorgeous difference. So you can be at the beach and spot your child out of the crowd knowing they are safe! I made a few samples and showed them to some parents with boys, a few past the test, but my more creative ones needed a few adjustments...

So I came to this conclusion between little girls & little boys: Little girls love to be different and "very" different, however Little boys like to be "similar to the norm" with only a little difference.... .e.g little girls love lots of patterns and not much plain colours, however boys like only little pattern and lots of plain colours. Until I start getting some feedback from parents with boys, I'll find out if I'm on the right track or not... It's so hard to get into the mind of the male gender!!!!!!

Here are some pictures, sorry they are not professional photos. I'll wait until the weather warms up and I already have my funky boys lined up!
If you are coming along to Market Girl, please pop in and say Hi and of course give me some feedback!

SHOP

I have finally found a "SHOP" available in Facebook that is user friendly. I have had so many request for an On-line shop and I'm not too sure the best way to do it.

I did try "Etsy" but some were not comfortable using it with USD and with Etsy so big now, my items were getting lost. With everyone plugged into Facebook, I thought I should try it that way.... I have wanted to have an on-line shop for a long time, but not too sure which way to tackle it.

I do have a website developer booked in to create a HeavenLee Creations website, but until I get time to do my layout, I will try using a Facebook store....

Here is the link for the "HeavenLee Creations Facebook store" and receive a discount if you are a "Liker" of the page!

If anyone has any suggestions or advice, I am happy to hear it.

It is army/camo which I'll pair up with some Blue or Green, and also some cute Racing Checkers which will look HOT with some red lycra, for all them "Cars" fans! I can't wait to receive it and get started...

Enjoy your "Mothers Day" tomorrow and I hope all you wonderful mothers are spoilt!!! I can't wait to show you my present from my daughter Talia, Jenny at Small Prints North made it and I have always wanted a finger print jewellery piece. It'll complement my crepe paper corsage/rose my daughter made me at daycare just perfectly! I'll be a very proud mummy wearing it tomorrow at our breakfast at "Oakover Winery!" yiippeeee!!!

Treasure Hunt Market-my stall!

I had my first stall last Sunday at Treasure Hunt Market. I surprised myself and was organised, I even had some time to whip up some headbands. Here is my stall!

A huge thanks to everyone who came to visit, it was great to see you and meet some new people!!! and of course my mum, for the support on the day! I loved it on the day and had a lot of fun, setting up, chating to people on the day and most of all getting feedback and advice from the regular's. Thanks for all the positive feedback on the Floppy Ruffle Swimsuits!

The markets were really slow and all the stall holders agreed it was very quiet, not too sure why, school holidays??? However, I always said I wanted to do a few test-run stalls so I am ready for the summer markets with the swimsuits. So I'm not going to let the slowness of my first market get me down, and I have already booked another market for 29th May. Details to come soon, so keep posted!!
